The temperatures dropped as a stormed charged across the country. We were hit by wind, rain, hail, and cold (sometimes all at once). A nice southerly (wind from the south) filled the harbour with whitecaps so the focus shifted to exclusive land training. To give you an idea of the wine, here’s a shot from St. Clarie Beach’s webcam. Note the waves washing across the road.
Of course, as all things must come to an end, so did the storm. The rain and hail have gone, the wind is dying down. The cold is still here, but hey, it is winter. The other plus is that we were greeted by this view from the boatshed this morning.
