We sent our daughter to SEJ given she needed to improve her erg for college recruiting. She had a great time, but they didn't spend much time on ergs and her results were lacking. Overall, fun camp but not sure about investment.

I recently returned home from this camp. The staff adapted the program to comply with reviews that had been sent to them, making the camp an even better learning experience. Of the four workouts a day, three were water, and one was erg or weights. I really learned a lot at this camp, and had a great time competing and succeeding at USRowing Club Nationals. The campus, although hilly, was absolutely stunning! Housing was also phenomenal, but the food wasn't always fabulous. I feel more developed as a rower, and look forward to my fourth of six years as a junior with a new thirst for competition. I would return to this camp.

I attended this camp in the summer before my junior year and I had a great experience! Coming from a smaller program to such a competitive and energetic team was fun and challenging! I learned so much in the three weeks that I rowed with SEJ I was offered several scholarships simply because I had attended this rigorous training camp! Though I decided to take accept a horse back riding scholarship I would not have changed my SEJ experience for anything!!! Thank you Coach Eubanks for such a fun and intense training and learning experience! :)

I went to SEJ after my Junior and Senior year of high school. The venue and facilities at Baylor school are worthy or better than some college facilities that I have visited. The camp itself was a great 3 week crash course of pretty intense training with the majority of three work outs a day. One of the best aspects was working with a variety of coaching staff to learn the different aspects involved in the boat. I was also able to get some good erg workouts to take home too. My first year the men's 8 took 6th in the finals and the second year we got to the semi-final round. This is a great experience to get a foot into the door with college coaches as well.
