Who We Are
A student-athlete on a club team in college, Tom brings experience as an educator from the Atlantic 10 and New England Small College Athletic Conference - as well as the pre-requisite counseling certifications for work with Sparks. "I really enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them think through the process - college recruiting is an opportunity to realize more about one's self," says Tom.
Tom graduated from Ohio State and went to work at Bates College as a rowing coach in Lewiston, Maine. A Division III school in ferociously competitive conference, Tom helped the program rise to a constant level of championship status. He went on to coach rowing at the George Washington University, a Division I program.
Tom particularly enjoys discussing the merits and intricasies of helping clients choose program types based on their interests and goals for their undergraduate degrees.
Tom holds a Bachelor of the Arts in History & Politicial Science from The Ohio State University.
