Who We Are
Nate Rooks spent seven years at Stanford recruiting and coaching for the women's rowing program. Equipped with real-life stories from Stanford University’s office of admissions, Nate’s extensive knowledge of the recruiting process enables him to better advise parents and students at every step.
A decorated athlete, Nate sported cardinal as a student athlete at Stanford and went on to represent the United States twice on the Under-23 Rowing National Team before graduation. According to Nate, “the daily grind of balancing practices, classes, and life are still fresh in my mind, which informs how I help my clients prepare.”
Nate enjoys listening to client’s passions and helping them express that excitement to coaches in a concise and effective way. When he's not counseling, Nate enjoys building boats with his brother. He once sailed 750 miles from Washington to Alaska in his own vessel.
