Who We Are

Hadzo Habibovic

Hadzo ("Hodge") hails originally from Bosnia, but more recently from Lincoln Park in Chicago - where he took up rowing. He is the only current head collegiate coach on the Sparks staff (given NAIA rules). His OCU men compete the Division I Men's championship - the IRA regatta - annually.

Hodge served as a coxswain with the US junior and U23 programs and is a constant presence at Sparks coxswain camps. His base of operations in Oklahoma City also serves as a high-performance center for USRowing.

Hodge also has coached on the junior level with OKC Riversport and Chicago Rowing Foundation. In his words, "I thoroughly enjoy having the opportunity to work with and develop young coxswains because it gives me a chance to share my knowledge with the next generation of talent. The thought of helping young motivated individuals perfect their craft truly gives me a sense of pride and joy. I look forward to hopefully providing a detailed and rewarding service with all of my clients."
